Friday 20May2022

Reflection grew

this morning cool,

I jogged a few

kay, then had "school",

which meant I opened up my heart

then let the truth of hesed start

to undo me, quite carefully,

and too, maybe, it's prayerfully?

And in that place

record what I

did start to trace.

Then let it fly!

It flew and split,

and this is it -

Nah .. Yeah!

while walking till 11:02

As I joined a  main road  from a dirt track, i saw a bloke who sat over the table from me at the pub last night, coming out of the bush, maybe fixing a fence or a culvert. We taked briefly.. he suggested (tongue in cheek) that i ride the trolley down the big hills that were coming up for me.

Later as I stopped for lunch a bit past half way, I caught up by phone with folk from my community back home (in Orange) who I used to join for lunch every Friday.

Cold wind, only 16 km to go to Coolamon, and about 1:30pm. I decided to see if in fact I could have tonight at Coolamon too. Yup, that was ok. So i got going to not be roo late.

I had a spill today after the lunch thingo catch up with the community by phone.

After singing a song to my body (that I often say I'm looking forward to being replaced with a new one), saying that I was in fact grateful for it, and I wanted to look after it more).

A bit ironic, because I made it run full speed down the (empty) bitumen road, with the trolley behind me. It worked other times, but maybe those hills weren't quite so steep, or something else. I had a premonition that the trolley might catch me and trip me up. I think I might have got scared and slowed, wondering what to do. It happened. We both went for a tumble.

Sorry body, for not thinking that through more, or getting scared.

I will be more considerate, but I'm bound to trip up some time.

I learned that I need a better first aid kit.

A lovely steak at the local tavern tonight. Protein to fix wounds.

I'll buy more bandaids etc tomorrow &  I'll rest up the next two days.

I have a lead from that old lady Mrs Ruth Smith whom  I met near Berrigan, of someone to catch up with here. See what happens.

Much, much goodness.

Good night.
