wandering?

In shadowland

If you will permit me the continued use of the (now archaic) Old English second person singular pronoun*...  it comes out like this:

In shadowland, the substance is

Ephemeral, and can be missed.

They've moved on, but I remain

In shadowland, I say again.

For permanent immortal gods

can't stay for long in mortal bods.

Their bods must be transformed, some say

that Christ's will be the norm one day.

Oh what a dream, for that to be.

When creatures seem like unto Thee*

whose life dreams carbon-based life up,

for shadowland to have enough

to give a taste or shadow of

the kind of life that's based on love.

Oh what a dream, for that to be.

When creatures seem like unto Thee*

who's bigger yet for all 'a' genders

together beg the question: "When does

the gather-ing become itself

a kind of cancer-ous unhealth?"

* "Thee" = an old English word for a person addressed; the singular of "You" (You, in the early 21st Century is commonly used to cover both singular and plural of the "second person").
