MO MOVEmber Pilgrimage:
and supporting the Bible Society as one way to work on keeping this ancient text which has been the basis of the good which Western Civilization brought to the world, & which still holds & transmits meaning (via story) for us today.
Blessing.
I'm not a Jew, but I do follow a Jewish Rabbi, Yeshua BarNatzaret, maybe the first to accept a non-Jew as a disciple.
I am going on this pilgrimage because I reckon that creative love has invited me to come for a walk through this country.
I woke this morning and recalled that my teacher said to others he sent out on a heralding mission, that if someone welcomed them into their house, they were to 'first say "Positive, thriving peace, to this house".' He called it a blessing, and he said: "If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. …
‘When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal those there who are ill and tell them, “The kingly reign of God has come near to you.”
A blessing has come to me (it seems to me to be prompted by my walking partner, creative love), for a household, who have offered me hospitality:
"The shalom-peace that's gold
and means a thriving life,
be unto this household,
through plenty & through strife." ." (Audio)
[ with blessings, the focus isn't really on the words, they are just carriers.]
