It starts in Melbourne at the Flinders Street Station

@ 7:55pm, I arrive here,

with my laminated sign

affixed to the back of my small back-pack..

thus...

And with the backpack on my shoulders just outside the Flinders Street Station

Where to go now?

Which way?

  • Hume highway, North? Or
  • more Western through Bendigo where there is still a Cornerstone Community, with many friends and family, or
  • towards the Eastern Coast then up, where it is greener, prettier, and the towns are closer?

Think I'll head to Bendigo  the Tug of friends helps...

Where to sleep tonight?

We'll see.

At about 12:15 hadn't found any AirBnB's close, and feet were getting sore.  Saw a carpet and vinyl shop with rolls of old carpet and cardboard boxes beside the wheelie bins at the front, so i unrolled one roll to sleep on and folded it as a slightly sandy "blanket". Worked for a few hours till maybe 3:30, then rolled up the carpet, put the boxes back and walked on through the Airport and arrived with very sore heels and balls of the feet at the Bulla Uniting Church, where it seems out of commision. Locked fence, locked doors, seemingly empty Manse. I rested my feet at the back, just to get off the road.

Do I try to walk out of Melbourne during the night? Yup, i did.

I guess I'll know by this time in a week.

God, help me to move forward, now!
