Day 3, at the end.

A long day, with some lovely spots. Amazing serendipities, coming on the back of considering how I learn from God, what it means to have him as my teacher.  Some good phone calls to family/ friends. A fun thing to do on a walk.

I ended up going through and thinking about the second & 3rd little storylets in Mark's set of about 100 little storylets. This got me thinking about the difference between having a test, being tempted, and being subjected to a pest. (See post above..)

And a number of lirtle jingles and ditties recorded as I walked.

Wow, only ~28km today, from the Black Horse Hotel/Motel in Bulla, to the Gisborne Motel. Very sore feet. A big blood blister on one heel. Went a few less tried paths to cut off a km. or two. Didn't work much, but at least it wasn't longer.

The motel didn't have food, but said it was only a few minutes walk to get pasta or a pie, or other food. It turned out to be a good half an hour walk, with some additional road works and detours thrown in… i was feeling sorry for myself. So while I waited for a pub meal I thought it through a bit more… again, see the post above..

Another patron just offered to drop me back to the Motel. I am glad. Thank you God!

See how we go in the morning. Don't want to do more than 25km. But we'll see.
