Paul Walker's attempt to do the next leg of a NOBO (NOrth-BOund) walking trip through Tazzy, have some solitude, connect with old friends, make new friends, again get through telling and soaking in Mark's Gospel, memorize as much as we can of James' epistle (I really think it was written by the little brother of Jesus, the best leader this world has ever seen), and continue an Australian "Way of St. James - and St. Mark". I am also hoping to catch, and record, stories along the way of people interacting with God, and he with them; - theophanies or answers to prayer, and would like to be able to make them available on the web.
And if you think of us, and if you are a praying person, please connect with the creator of the heavens and Earth and ask what God alerts you to, for us ...
Here is the dates of my flights there and back.
We're flying into, and out of Launceston this time, then we try to get to Poatina (or Perth, where I may still have some friends) somehow, maybe stay there the first night, and they may take us to the track again, at the top of Poatina Road, where it meets the Central Plateau (-41.8134506, 146.8548489; about 7.5 km up Poatina Road, from Poatina).
I started at South Cape (last year, I think, well it's all on the blog below here) and am heading to North Point, above Stanley in Tazzy, hoping to at least make it to the coast , though if God makes open doors for us on the way we may stop at places longer than expected.
Let me know if you want to join in with us... or find us on the track.
My mobile number is below.
