The Kinda GOoD, that BE's just what it should…

The Kinda GOoD, that BE's just what it should…

Well, "Holy, holy, holy is DE BOSS",

creative love, who IS, and WAS, WILL BE

decidedly for giving, not like us,

unless we really are like this, you see.

Then we will be like GOD in every way,

in nature, and in nurture, as we grow,

we'll take on board the fam'ly culture. Hey!

We even might extend it. Never know!

We do know that it won't be for our fame,

that's if the our is disconnected from

creative love, the source, and too the frame

that conduits all the soul to sing this song!

And one of his Ambassadors came oop

with comments that make mine look dull and glum,

he said the future of this fam'ly group

is more than our imaginings - and some!*

When I recall that YaHWeH's wholly holy,

my picture of him can't be drawn from me,

or those ambivalent 'bout lives lived solely

in reference to ourselves, as humans, "We..",

without that second Adam, who came for..

to be the yeast within humanity,

to rise us up from "flat cakes" to be more..

more textured, lovely, and to be 3D.

And with this life there also comes permis-

sion: walk with love-creative ev'ry day

(like Enoch did, without an intermis-

sion, for three hundred years, the writings say°).

*  "Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, …" Eph 3:20 NRSV-CI

°  "When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God for 300 years, and he had other sons and daughters. The entire lifetime of Enoch was 365 years. Enoch walked with God, and then he disappeared because God took him away." Genesis 5:21‭-‬24 NET

The bigger picture..

The bigger picture that made sense of the smaller one that had me flummoxed:

Thurs11Aug2022CE, from Thallon to the Nindigully Pub

Wazza said he might come over before I leave around 7am. Wayne is about to pick up me and the trolley at 7am then we'll sort out whether the trolley can be dropped at the Nindigully Pub or not… apparently Wazza is putti g something about me on the Francis Pub at Thallon's Face Book page...

Looking forward to just carrying a small day-pack today.

Look up iview Backroads, Thallon. Wayne introduces the town…

He had a change of plans, and he's coming back to Thallon, so I can help him take the trolley off.

We did it. That gave me a chance to hear some wisdom from the bush. And Wayne dropped me off where he picked me up yesterday arvo..

.

That's his ute, dissappearing back to Thallon. I turn around and take atock..with 27km to go to the Nindigully Pub, at 8:24am.

Thanks a lot Wayne.

Along the road a tractor-mower driver, Bill, stopped his tractor to say G'day and ask what I was doing. :

.

We talked for 10 min, he gave me some advice on places to visit, like Inot Springs caravan park, and spots around St. GEORGE, I gave him my blogpost, then we both got going again.

Thanks Bill, for taking the trouble to connect.

Laura from the Nindigully Pub, who took my booking for the room tonight, stopped to check if I was ok. I think she would have given me a lift, it I needed one. That meant I could tell her personally about my trolley left in the beer garden. This is her four wheel drive disappearing towards the Nindigully Pub.

.

She knows I'm on my way, what the trolley's doing there, and what I look like. And I know how thoughtful and helpful she is. Thanks Laura.

Would you believe it, Bill the mower man got to the end of his run, going the opposite way to me, turned around, and caught up to me. I gave him a run for his money's worth and kept ahead of him for two guide posts. Then we stopped, and he told me he'd been thinking, he was doing the road to St.George tomorrow, as nd could pick up my trolley and leave it about midway to St. George at a safe spot. I said "You beauty!". He or his wife, who are doing shifts, will catch me on the road tomorrow. Yee har. Then he mowed of into the future, down the road.

.

Thank you Bill, and Bill's wife. Thank you creative love, my walking partner who seems to act like a mutual friend, introducing me to old and new friends along the way. Wow. What an adventure.

We waved as Bill did a third run back on the RHS of the road. They must do three passes on both sides.

@Ten twenty-five, a half hour break, loo & twenty min with feet up.

An encouraging sign! …

.

From memory it was just under 50km ftom Nindigully to Saint George, so there's probably only a bit over 10km to go.. (then 2 more days to SG, possibly in rain.)

Well, half an hour later I come to this sign..

.

A break for 50 min (1:10pm-2pm). Then walk on.

At about 5km before Nindigully, another fourwheel drive slows down and yells "Checking if you're alright?" On my afirmative with thumbs up, they wave and keep going..

.

The first, dark car. Thanks folk for your thoughtfulness.

Got to Nindigully Pub around 4:30, washed, put feet up, was loaned someone's hot spot to put this blog up and try to signal my lady [the Telstra towers in Thallon, and Nindigully don't let Aldi (Telstra) sim cards onto the network.] Thanks to that lady  and creative love…

Wed10Aug2022, to Thallon (& 10km past?)

I'm trying to take off early, with a thought of leaving the trolley at Thallon and cutting some of the next day's 33km walk off, then, ask creative love to sort out a lift back to Thallon before night fall, and the next morning, to get dropped back to the point I got to the previous afternoon (with trolley; or better still, if the trolley could be dropped off at the Nindigully Pub where I'm booked for the following night, in "Paddy's Room") I'll do it. [Tomorrow's walk is schedued to be 33km otherwise, & that is more than I can usually do with the trolley; and but it's pub to pub, so no down and up of tent required..].

Oh well, what actually happened was I got on the road at 8:37am after boiling the billy while waiting for the tent to dry, packing etc.

What a lovely (to me) blessing came to me this morning before 7. I was thinking of how to be more like creative love is, so that I myself might actually BE a blessing to this world -  from creative love…. If you are into that sort of open handed giving of goodness that a blessing is… i think I would be a blessing to this world (& not so much of a curse on it), if I am more along these lines, as I see creative love doing things.

Meditate on Mark 2 again, recalling an audio ditty I made up in Victoria to help me recall it, for when I don't have other media around to help me meditate on it.

After 2 hrs, 40 min break with feet up. And on the road again.

This sign from above appears on my right..

.

This is where I'm booked in for the night. It looks like I'm within a few km of the pub. Several hundred metres down the road, on the left I see :

.

.

Very patchy reception at the spot I was overnight, 3 or 4 bars show on phone signal, but it's not always open for me to ring out on (a call got in from my Dad). No internet reception to post last night till I got out of the tent, stood in the middle of the road, holding phone high above my head. No better today till Thallon, where I'll try to post a few things at once. Might not have much reception for the next few days? (If you're ringing, leave a message, and if I get to a rise, I might be able to hear it, & maybe (but also maybe not) even ring you.)

As I'm coming further I am happy to find that this is a

.

Really Very Friendly Town!

We'll see.

Intro video

And… a giant Wombat,

.

for the kids to climb on (? Yes, the other side has rock climbing hand & toe holds)

About 1pm got to the Francis Hotel,

.

.

run by "Wazza"

.

& "Reenie".

.

Got a coffee and big burger, and my phone ready to update….

I'll try to post this now..

A local Wayne, drops in to pick up his trolley, and mentions that he's going to St. George to pick up his ute, .

i ask if he's likely to be able to pick me up on the road on the way back tonight, and take me back to that spot tomorrow morning on his way back in the morning… and drop my trolley off at the Nindigully pub for me as he passes. He says he thinks he can do that, and off he goes.

YeeHar…  Thank you creative love!

And off I go to take my trolley to my room (I'm at The Quarters, over the rail line from the pub) and get 20 min with my feet up, then I'm off up the Highway too.

On the way North out of Thallon on Wed arvo… sculptures..

.

.

.

.a truck coming into town from the North..

.and just a bit out of town a sign to orient me with the towns of Saint George, and Roma..

.flat scrubby country, with a lot of dead wood. I wonder why the dead trees?

I get about 5 ½ km out of town, and Wayne pulls up, heading in the opposite direction, back to Thallon.

.

&, looking over his front bumper, back towards Thallon:

Wayne says he worked on this property for 20, or 30yrs and just stopped two years ago. He knows that big tree on the left hand side of the road to St. George (not in the photo, to the right of it). I stop trying to drop a pin on my Google map that has no internet at the moment.

Wash clothes, shower. Type this up, and head over for dinner at the pub.

John & Heather visiting Thallon from the Yarra Valley, on the left, and a local, Colin or

.

(Colly) from Thallon (on the right) who does wood work around this place….

A mural under a bridge has also captured Colly:

.

Did a few pics of folk,

It turns out, (after spending an hour or so trying to follow fixit advice),  that Aldi mobile, which I have, which uses Telstra mobile in 98.5% of Australian population, doesn't actually work for phone, sms, or internet on the Telstra tower in Thallon. "Luckily", the pub let me use their internet to post the blog tonight, and we might be able to sort out the Nindigully Pub thing without a call….

New (for me) Blessing

I yield to creative love today with this blessing. You may see other opportunities for goodness & growth in it, for me too. Here's the start of a blessing for Paul (de) Walker.

May [I] know today

  • the bright possibilities of unconditional positive regard,

  • The beauty of disclosure & trust tailored in strength, colour, texture, genre, to others' current capacity for trusting & being trustworthy,

  • the tender gracious growth to maturity that allows all others, even  mentors, to be immature, thus still growing,

  • the wonder of allowing others to participate, to question and comment; inappropriately, while they learn to work well with creative love,

  • the joy of creating immature good, and allowing others to join in and develop it,

  • the blessedness of blessing others,

  • the steadfastness of continuing in these (above), even when these ovatures are rejected - until creative love says "enough-for-now."

May [I] have a mind

  • that relishes the chance to be with those who see things differently, and,

  • that looks for the images and likenesses of creative love and its worksites  strewn throughout the world.

May I have eyes

  • that appreciate the good around me.

May I have a tongue

  • that appropriately recognises the source of, and choices for, good around me,

  • that quickly asks for clarification rather than quickly making judgement.

In the light of the beautiful blessing passed on to me by Wok Harrison from John O'Donohue. For my present growth towards maturity, this adds to that.

Tues09Aug2022 from Mungindi..(towards St.George)

Up at 6:30am, didn't actually get on the road till 8:17am. Oh well, it shouldn't be a big day today(~20km)… nor tomorrow(~20km), only the next one (33km, with the trolley). See how we go.

Its quite cool just now. There's sparkles of diamond dew on the lower blades of grass still. I have to keep walking in this sunshine to keep warm enough not to shiver. Today, can't see a cloud in the sky. Just a lighter blue curtain at the edges, getting more royal blue on top. You just feel it as a dome over you, or a curtain, that you know will be pulled back tonight, letting you look out of the nursery, into Mum & Dad's bedroom, or the back yard, or whole worlds awaiting. Oh God! I love this country, and these people. This might be a bit of the home of GOD, right now! (There is an old psalm that says, in old English, "The Earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof.. " which I take to mean "The whole Earth is GOD's place, every last scrap of it!".

I like being in your place, with you, creative love.

(Sometimes I wish I had an invisibility cloak as good as yours. But I know that I don't have enough creativity or love to use it well, and it might be the end of me. So, even that, I have to leave in your hands, and do the best I can at this invisibility thing;  like whoever paid for my room last night)

In the middle of this, a test for my sanity. A few more twinges in my gouty big toe. And I remermber that prevention is (way) better than cure. I stop to find the gout tablets that I forgot to take this morning.

Yup, all done. Then a very precious time walking along the edge of the Carnarvon Highway. It probably looks like I'm walking alone. But appearances (as important as they are), are not all there is to reality.

Enjoying my Company, and the company of people I can see on this planet, especially those who have entrusted themselves in some way to me, like friends, my good woman, our 6 children, and many others who have let me get to know them, I suspect I might be the luckiest man in Australia today. And, as A.A.* (and all those 12 step programs*, like N.A. & GROW etc*) helps people to recognize, "The best is yet to come."

I am told of friends' troubles, and children's struggles, it is beautiful to know that creative love is no less present with them than here with me, where the presence of creative love  seems so obvious. Sometimes I walk, or sit, or lie with what I know of friends, offspring, relatives and family in the presence of creative love; and poem-ish thingos pop (well, ppp-o-o-o-ppp) into my head. It's fun trying to make a plaster cast of them with words. Sometimes you get the feel of a living creature of hope even through the static form of a poem-ish thingo. (It's a bit like that game where you can only feel something in a bag, with one finger, and you have to guess what it is. Sometimes you do get a bit of an idea.)

Met an aboriginal worker in a ute painted with aboriginal artwork, first yesterday on the way into Mungindi, 20 min after I met Malcolm, then again this arvo ~16km out of Thallon. Said he'll see me again tomorrow,  just as he was leaving. After a few seconds, when I understood that he must be planning to come back on this road tomorrow,  I yelled, "Bring us a coffee", he waved, but I don't know if he heard me or not. We'll see.

Set up tent behind some trees off the road. Cooked up a rice  beans and tuna dish, then lay down, and thought O'd see if I had any signal. Immediately my Dad rang and we talked while hexwaited at the barbers.

Like to get going soon after 7am tomorrow.

We'll see.

* A.A.(Alcoholics Annonymous) is one of those "12 step programs"*, like N.A. (Narcotics Annonymous). & GROW (a 12 step program for continuing to develop in mental health) etc there are others for all o'holics, sex o'holics, gamblers, etc applying the steps of growth and life, to any area where it is obviously not happening for you at the moment, within a communuty of others who are in similar real need. The help is from the "higher power", and others who take it seriously enough to allow themselves to act as a conduit for its creativity and love.

Monday08082022CE, from 23km out to Mungindi, Qld.

Due to wake at 6:07am, pack, make list for shopping at Mungindi, for trip to St. George, get a cup of coffee and bacon and egg roll at 6:30am, & look for a lift to get me dropped 23 km out from, and trolley dropped in, or through, Mungindi.

In the morning outside the shop, I met Lethia, the mother of Cal (from Ashley, where I stayed with Pete, Cal's dad, and Cal). She is the daughter of the folk who run the shop that has been making my breakfast and coffee. Her mum, Lyn, was there with her this morning, and Lethia made my coffee.

.

I gave Lethia another verbal riddle to pass on to Cal. She says Cal has passed the other one on to the whole school. Ask your mum about it Cal.

And thanks for my breakies and coffee, Lyn, your man, and Lethia.

Got a big looking garden trolley to try to get to Mungindi, and I'm taking a day pack with me. I walked out of the shop saying, that I didn't know how this was going to happen. But after a while I'd know how. I would just have to see.

Stood outside the shop eating my bacon & egg roll, and sipping coffee, not feeling confident, I think I waved to a truck or car going by, with my finger out to indicate which way I was going and that I was looking for a lift. Then i tried a ute,  it slowed down, but I'm not sue the driver even saw me, 'coz he was going into the shop to get a coffee for his boss. When I asked about a lift to Mungindi, and drop me off early, but drop my trolley off at the Qld. servo, Richard said "Yeah, that should be ok." How glad was I. Well, he's just dropped me off where Google maps says I've got 24km to go to Mungindi, Qld.

.

And Richard's got my number in case he has any problems at that end of things, or has to drop it somewhere else. We shook hands. Thanks Richard.

And thanks to creative love who(m) I know* somehow rigged this up so beautifully. This is fun learning to trust you.

Now, for that Mark stuff (that I'm trying to do a bit on each day, as food for mind, soul/spirit) to think about, and imagine. …

Meanwhile, this creek, with a strong lonely little bridge, over a deep-water creek

.

.

.

somehow doubly reminded me of one of my sons. I wonder why?

Morning Break (40 min) 10:08am with 15km to go. So I've been travelling at 9km÷2.3hr = ~4 km/hr.

Ring and confirm my booking at the Two Mile hotel for tonight. "Too easy!" she said, and night "meals are from 6 to 8."

It must be pretty important to creative love to connect with other  humans who want themselves to be conduits for creative love too, since I seemed to be led to considering this instead of Mark so far this morning. I'll try to finish this in my break, then do MarKing time after the break.

Took me 40 min to do my basic intro, together with the translation/ paraphrase/ poem of the first story-block of Mark. (= ch 1, in most religious settings)

About 12km from Mungindi I met Malcolm who was on a little wheeled push-scooter, with two grocery bags ballanced on the handles, & his bitch-dog Bella, heading for Moree.

.

He hoped he'd make it there. I wasn't so sure. No food or water. Since I still had some tea left in a thermos, I gave him my two water bottles, and my 3 muslie bars. I hope you make it Malcolm. Creative love be with you.

I think I might need to learn my Intro to the Intro too (another 20 poemish verses), which takes into account some of modern science's understanding of 4 different dimensions of this world we live in (it's just that our senses and logic mean that 3 of them are only hinted at, or given very small insight into. We can live most of our life, only being aware of or focussing on one aspect of reality. My point is, that fact doesn't make that dimension less real, in fact it becomes the only way we can even start to meet and understand the other dimensions, through analogy and metaphore)

Right big toe joint is getting sore. Feels like gout coming on. Had the other half of my preventative gout tablet, and one of the get rid of it when you've got it ones. Eek, I've given my water away. Finished my black tea. Well, creative love, this is where things seem to be right now. I don't want to stop in case my toe settles & grows its crystals of gout, and I can't move again.

Just before 2pm, I am welcomed to Mungindi (NSW) by this sign from above:

.

.like Bourke, Mungindi appears to be surrounded by a levi bank, I'm guessing to save it from water on the flood plains covering the town. I guess they've then got to shaw up the river banks within the town .

the grocery shop in town is run from the old RSL, and I got a few provisions there, including some nail clippers, and some asprin.

right big toe a bit gouty... just had some water  and half an asprin & got feet up in park for half an hour before going accross the river.

Just after 4pm, I walked from NSW

.

accross the Barwon River at Mungindi,

.

and into Qld.

.

My first foot (in shoe) on living Qld soil, as part of this trip:

.

👍ðŸĪŠðŸ˜ŠðŸ˜

Thanks to all my support team who formed as you were called on by de BOSS, creative love!

Then, collected my trolley from the Lowes Servo that I think must be run by the de Beer family. Elrene gave me a punnet of chicken poppers - for free. Yum. Thanks Elrene for looking after the trolley much of the day and for your generosity.

Now I'm walking out to the two mile pub, where I'm booked in for the night, for dinner too.

Arrived about 5:30pm. Pay. They wouldn't let me pay! They said a person from the community, who wished to remain anonymous had footed the bill. What? Well, creative love has done it again, and seems to love involving others, just for the fun of it. Thank you anonymous person, for partnering in the adventure. I feel like creative love has partners hidden all over the place.

(I have another secret that I'm not putting on the blog, but you can ask me personally, why it's pretty amazing that this happened tonight, and not last night or tomorrow night.)

Well, I got my keys, to the room, had a lovely shower, and lay down to write this up, with my feet up a bit before dinner. Planning for dinner at 7pm. Then an early-ish night.

First sleep in Qld for this trip.

Expect to get going early-ish in the morning, & sleep somewhere close to the road, about half way to Thallon tomorrow night.

We'll see what happens.

*  the word "know" can mean either

  1. An intellectual recalling and outlining of the component parts of a mechanism, displaying an understsnding of the processes by which they contribute to a working system or machine, or (if you believe there are beings/creatures above machines, which can make real choices at a level above programming, instincts, and desires, then the word "know" can indicate);

  2. a friendship/ relationship between beings/creatures which can choose for open building-up relationships, that are built on an unconditional, positive, realistic regard for each other as choosing persons. In such a knowing relationship, little can be known by one person of the facts of the other yet the other person in the relationship can be trusted implicitly [sometimes to the detriment of one person, if the other was not trustworthy to the extent they were trusted] (e.g. both ways, some grandchildren with their grandparents);

in this case I am using it in both the first & second sense, but mostly the second.
